Hi, I’m Dr John Burns, Welcome.

I am in private practice with a renowned internationally respected group of plastic surgeons at The Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute and am well trained in all aspects of plastic and cosmetic surgery. My goal is to create natural beauty without making a person appear unnatural or “fake.” I believe that a person’s natural beauty should be enhanced, not altered. I believe in achieving the finest possible result with the least risk. I insist on using only physician anesthesiologists. I operate in an onsite fully accredited surgery center, the Dallas Day Surgery Center, or at Baylor University Medical Center. As the first plastic surgeon in the United States to complete a fellowship in laser surgery, I bring a unique and unmatched expertise in facial rejuvenation. I am happily married and enjoy spending time with my two boys.

What does Board Certified mean?

Qualified plastic surgeons are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and hold membership in at least one or two key medical societies, including The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Each ASPS Member Surgeon operates only in accredited medical facilities. They adhere to a strict code of ethics and fulfill continuing medical education requirements. Board Certification means that you can feel good about your doctor’s training and skills, and your safety. It means quality care and outcomes. If you have questions about a particular procedure or would like to schedule a consultation with Dr Burns, please give us a call at 214.515.0002 We thank you for your interest and look forward to speaking with you.
