Experienced and personalized care
At the Dallas Day Surgery Center you can be assured of experienced and personalized care. With state-of-the-art facilities and specialized one-on-one care from highly trained and ACLS certified staff, you are provided with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere and the attention to detail you should expect.

Unique accreditation
Dallas Day Surgery Center is a fully accredited Medicare and Medicaid approved outpatient surgery facility. This accreditation cannot be over emphasized as it is distinctly unique and rare for an office-based surgery center to meet the same criteria that the largest hospitals, such as Baylor, Presbyterian and Medical City, must meet. Patient safety is our utmost concern.

Convenient location
The center is conveniently located on the 5th floor of the Tom Landry Center adjacent to the EpiCentre. There are hotel rooms on the 5th floor as well, which are separate from the surgery center but can be utilized very efficiently for patients who desire or need to stay in the facility overnight.

Nurse and physician anesthesiologists
Individualization of each patient's needs can be carried out with regard to anesthesia, as we have excellent nurse anesthetists as well as physician anesthesiologists who can perform anesthesia. This is oftentimes the patient's most significant concern. Understanding that priority, our nurse anesthetists achieve the highest standard of quality while achieving a cost sensitive approach to the anesthesia process. However, for patients who require or desire physician anesthesia, it is available.

Comfort and safety
We stress safety first, but comfort and convenience should not be underestimated. RN's staff the rooms throughout the afternoon and night as an added measure of comfort and safety to those patients desiring or requiring a hospital stay after surgery.

Conservative approach
Our approach is consistent and remains unapologetically conservative. Certain patients desire to go home and can do so with minor procedures. For most procedures, though, patients are usually more comfortable staying overnight in the hotel facility so that they may be checked periodically throughout the day and night of surgery, as well as the following morning. This allows them to go home rested, alert, and reassured. For many procedures, the dressing change can be done the next morning prior to departure. The wound check and a fresh dressing again serve as an added safety measure and reassurance to the patient.
